Jules Kean

Jules has been directing and producing broadcast television for fourteen years and has a wide range of experience directing for major UK terrestrial channels from BBC1 to Channel 4.

Passionate about documentary content, Jules has a wide range of experience in the genre having shot the first DV series in Scotland for STV in 1998. Channel 4’s Fantasy Club followed which was their highest rating documentary in 2001. Chancers, a six part documentary series for BBC Scotland about reforming young offenders, won a Scottish Bafta in 2002, and was runner up for a Royal Television Society (RTS) award.

Since 2002 he has worked as a producer and director on observed documentary based entertainment series for Endemol, Lion, Tern TV and Brighter Pictures.
