Established by Michelle Friel and Jules Kean in 2005, Friel Kean Films is an independent television production company whose aim is to make entertaining prime time factual television. We specialise in getting the kind of access that offers the viewer an ‘under the skin’ honest insight into another world. From hospitals to prisons, we are adept at building and maintaining relationships with institutions and the individuals within them. We deliver films which attract big audiences and stimulate debate.

As a new production company, we are already building a reputation of delivering films which appeal to peak time audiences and are currently pitching a diverse range of ideas.
